Happy Hump Day and first day of July! Today is like my Thursday (yay for having this Friday off!) and even though there is still work to be done, I'm already on weekend time. I put together a bright and colorful look to pull us into the weekend a little faster (ok, this realistically can't happen but just go with it). Anyone who knows me well know I love the 60's-70's era, I mean I can tell you right now I would have been a hardcore flower child. Peace? Love? Music? Check those all for me. The bright retro looks of the past are very much a part of my present. Speaking of flower power, how cute is this denim dress with such a vintage flair plus it's currently 40% off! I also live in bell sleeve dresses, they are super flattering and perfect for a night out like this fun number. Also a staple in the 70's were longer, maxi type dresses such as this kimono style print dress. There's an amazing pair of platforms that I can't wait to style on here and share with you all that fits right in with all these looks! But lets get back to today's choice. After I added this bright mini skort (yes, shorts underneath!) I topped it off with a crop top (been trying to pull one of these off since the Britney days) and it's a great base piece for the summer. It's not too short or revealing and goes with just about everything. However, I would advise sizing up a bit, great price but with most jr styles can run a little smaller than normal. These tassel sandals were another great find and price (even better!) then just added a few accessories to pull the look together and create that cool 70's feel.
