While looking over the at the great deals at Old Navy, I came across this amazing steal, a black, pink and orange romper with a feather motif. The colors are bright and fun, I wore it last night to an event and out to run some errands earlier and I received so many compliments! Two stylish ladies even asked if it was a Lilly romper and were shocked when I said it was $17 from Old Navy. I also had to pick up this green-leaf inspired romper and a pair of these snakeskin cross strap slides.
I am a firm believer that you do not have to spend a ton of money for a great look, I try to incorporate as much high/low pairings as I can. This turquoise Louis Vuitton was a splurge a few years back (I'm talking way back, like 2011) and it is still my summer go-to purse. I love how it brightens up any outfit and is a statement piece that you notice immediately. If you are going to splurge, I always advise going with a handbag since you will most likely get a lot of everyday use out of it. Save trendy items (think eclectic prints, neon, graphic tees and yes, even my beloved rompers) for the lower end of the price spectrum. Focus on one major purchase each season or year that will be forever stylish in your eyes.
I'll be busy packing for this mini-beach voyage and then off for some Friday night fun but in the meantime shop this feathery, fun look below! What are your weekend plans? I want to know! Once again, don't be afraid to contact me at laureltaylor247@gmail.com for anything regarding the blog!
Happy Shopping!
